From Níjar driving through the village of Lucainena de Las Torres you will arrive at the Natural Park of Karst in Gypsum of Sorbas with its caves of Karst

The National Park of Tabernas Desert, breathtaking scenery reminiscent of the American West.

Numerous routes allow you to explore the mountains of the northern part of the province, characterized by natural and authentic villages of the Andalusian mountains. You will enjoy La Alpujarra of Almeria (Alhama de Almeria, Canjáyar, Instinción,  Laujar of Andarax, Terque...) and the Sierra de Los Filabres (Benizalón, Gérgal, Seron, Tahal, Macael...).

The city of Almeria has a lot of very attractive monuments: the Alcazaba, a magnificent Arab fortress with towers and gardens offering stunning views over the city, harbour and the sea, the Cathedral and its square with towering palm trees, and the Cable Inglés, a relic of industry, a very original system load of minerals. You can also enjoy a drink at one of the terraces along the Zapillo Beach Promenade.

The city is bathed all the year by a Mediterranean light, along the day and sunset.
