The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Nijar is in the autonomous community of Andalusia, a region rich in attractions.

Their natural areas are varied and well preserved, from the peaks of the Sierra Nevada to Mediterranean and Atlantic beaches.

Towns and cities with a characteristic and attractive architecture, palaces, gardens, monuments and forts built by this unique combination of Arab, Jewish and Christian cultures.

An hour's drive from Las Presillas village you can visit the top attractions of the province of Granada, as the Castillo de La Calahorra and Guadix cave houses, and later the Alpujarra of Granada with its small towns like Trévelez or Yegen and the peaks of Sierra Nevada.

Two hours driving from Almería you will reach the city of Granada with its Moorish quarter of Albaicin, the Cathedral and the extraordinary palaces and gardens of the Alhambra. You can also go towards the coast of Granada to places like Granada Salobreña, Almuñecar and La Herradura.

The other provinces of Malaga, Sevilla, Córdoba and Cádiz are a little further but worth exursiones discovered in several days.
